About Me

Beyond the editing suite, I’ve spent over six years refining my eye for evocative photography—mostly portraits and candid street shots—where I gravitate toward a dark, moody aesthetic. I’m fascinated by how facial expressions capture emotion, and this fascination guides my work as a cinematographer.

My academic path began at the University of Texas at Austin, where I earned a BS in Radio-Television-Film in 2022. The culmination of my studies took place in Los Angeles through the UTLA program, which introduced me to courses like “Script to Screen” with Matthew McConaughey and “How Hollywood Works,” sharpening my understanding of the entertainment industry from the inside out.

As a film instructor, I favor a hands-on, collaborative approach, treating students like fellow crew members and emphasizing professionalism on set. This teaching philosophy guided my leadership of the film department for Berridge Programs in France, where I oversaw numerous short films from concept to final edit.

On the professional front, I’ve contributed to the post-production process as an assistant editor on a documentary project featuring Matthew McConaughey and have worked on various film and TV sets. While much of my editing portfolio lives behind the scenes, a curated selection of my work is available on my site.

Inspiration for my creative vision extends beyond contemporary film and photography; it’s also informed by video games, music, and historical art. Drawing from such diverse sources adds a unique richness to my storytelling, allowing me to craft narratives that feel both visually captivating and culturally resonant.

Looking ahead, I plan to deepen my expertise in post-production and pursue opportunities in film studio leadership—particularly within development. To me, the essence of visual storytelling isn’t just about producing content; it’s about weaving stories that truly resonate, connect, and captivate.
